Takin’ Better Care of Jax, Inc. (TBC of Jax) is dedicated to transforming the lives of the chronically homeless population in the Jacksonville, FL area. We provide transitional short- and long-term housing solutions while partnering with local service providers to offer resources like counseling, transportation, employment support, and career training. Through community collaboration, we aim to create pathways for individuals to reintegrate into society and achieve lasting stability.

At Takin’ Better Care of Jax (TBC of Jax), our mission is to be a beacon of hope for Jacksonville’s chronic homeless population, offering a pathway from survival to stability. We are dedicated to creating transitional and long-term housing solutions that go beyond shelter—providing a foundation where individuals can rebuild their lives.
Through meaningful partnerships with local organizations and community leaders, we foster a network of care that includes mentoring, life skills training, and employment opportunities. Our goal is to equip our community with the tools they need to overcome obstacles, establish independence, and thrive as valued members of society.
